Dry Suit Diver - Course Dates & Times

For the most part, the Dry Suits primary purpose is comfort. The air temperature in the winter can get colder than the water. Combine this with a strong wind and you will soon realize that personal comfort is worth twice the cost of a Dry Suit. Our Dry Suit course will introduce you to the unique aspects of diving in a dry suit and the skills necessary to maintain suit integrity and diver safety. The course is tailored around your particular suit. There are many different types of materials used in Dry Suits. Therefore, special do's and don'ts apply to different models. This course is taught using DUI suits both in Crushed Neoprene, Tri Laminate and a combination of both materials. DUI suits are recognized in the industry as the best available. We are the only authorized DUI Dealer in Fairfield County. Rex Dive Center provides these suits free of rental charges as part of the course, a $150.00 value.

Prerequisites:

• PADI Open Water Diver, Junior Open Water Diver (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum age 12 yrs
• Cost: $150

Dry Suit Course Includes:

• Classroom Session
• 1 pool session
• PADI registration fee (Upon successful completion)
• 2 Open Water Training Dives with instructor
• DUI Drysuit rental for course duration ($150 Value)

Student must provide:

• All Scuba Equipment
• Any charter boat or site fees
