Refresher Course

A refresher session is a chance to get back into the water and practice your skills in a controlled environment with a Rex Divemaster or Instructor. The Scuba refresher course is designed for those certified divers or soon to be certified diver, who have been out of the water for an extended time. Do you just dive on vacations once a year, took a course but didn't finish the open water for several months, just haven't been diving in a while? We offer refresher sessions at any of our regularly scheduled confined water classes. Call the shop for pool availability.

Some of the situations where this refresher would be appropriate would be:

• You have taken the classroom and pool sessions portion of an open water certification course and have had a hiatus between the final pool session and the open water dives.
  
  
• You normally only dive on vacation and it has been an extended time since your last dive trip. Get into the water and re-familiarize yourself with your gear in acontrolled environment.
  
  
• You have purchased new and unfamiliar gear and wish to familiarize yourself with it in the safety of a pool.
  
  
• You have received a referral from an instructor, and more than twelve months have passed since your last pool session. You will need to take a refresher class prior to participating in open water dives.
