Rescue Diver - Course Dates & Times

The best diver training we hope you'll never use. Scuba diving is exciting. But like all adventure sports, it has inherent risks that may result in injury or even a fatality. Being knowledgeable in how potentially dangerous situations can transpire may allow you to prevent such occurrences from happening, or after the onset, to effectively deal with them, reducing the possibility of serious injury. Rex Dive Center provides Rescue Diver trained staff at every pool and open water session. We believe this could be one of the most valuable class’s that you can participate in.

Knowing how to identify symptoms of stress and panic that may lead to the necessity of rescue for either yourself or your diving partner and having solid skill training in both surface and underwater rescues will make you a better diver and a sought-after diving partner. This class entails extensive training with numerous true life scenarios and examples. Training will be kept as practical and real-life as possible to maximize learning and retention.

Prerequisites:

• PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent experience)
  
• Emergency First Responder(can be arranged thorough our shop)
  
• 20 Logged Dives
  
• Minimum age: 15
  
• Cost: $375

Scuba Rescue Course Includes:

• PADI Rescue Diver Manual and use of DVD
  
• 5 Classroom Sessions
  
• Confined water Training Sessions/air
  
• 5 Open Water Training Sessions/air
  
• PADI Rescue Diver certification fee (Upon successful completion)

Student must provide:
